Directions from the A30

If you are travelling to us from the A30 you need to head towards Bolventor (Jamaica inn). As you approach Bolventor you take the first turning on the left. This junction is sign posted St Cleer and Golitha Falls. (Pictured below)

After turning left you will need to stay on this road for 3 miles. After a mile or so you will start following the river fowey on your right hand side. Our farm entrance is on the right hand side. Its a granite stone wall entrance with a wooden gate. Carkeet farm is written on the gate. Pictured below with gate open.

If you were to miss our entrance and were to continue for 800 yards you will pass two bridges on your left hand side. (The two bridges consist of a modern vehicle bridge with metal railings and a seperate granite stoned wall bridge to the right.) Do not cross these bridges. Turn around in the lay by and go back down the road for 800 yards and we are the next farm entrance on the left.
A sat nav will not take you to our entrance, it will take you to the two bridges. If so, follow instructions above.

Directions from Callington area.

From callington, head towards St Cleer. Drive through the village of St Cleer passing the church on your right and the black smiths a bit further on your left. (Do NOT turn left at black smiths). Continue for a mile until you hit a T juction. Turn left. Follow this road for a mile and you will enter a place called redgate. You will need to turn right here. It is sign posted It is sign posted, Draynes, Bolventor and Golitha Falls. (Pictured above in directions from the A38.) Please now refer to those directions for completion.

Directions from the A38

If you are traveling to us from the A38 head twoards Dobwalls. If you enter the Dobwalls from Liskeard you will enter the village, passing the church on your right hand side. When you pass the church, turn right at the second mini roundabout.

If you enter Dobwalls from the other direction, you will pass the Rowes Honda garage on your left hand side. When you appraoch the mini roundabouts, turn left.

Now stay on this road for aprox 1 mile. You will pass Dobwalls Theme Park and then come to a T junction. Turn right.

Now stay on this road for aprox 2 miles. You will pass Orchards Scrap yard on your right and eventually will enter a place sign posted Redgate. When you enter Redgate there are white lines painted in the road warning you that there is a junction coming up on your left hand side. You need to take that left hand turning. It is sign posted, Draynes, Bolventor and Golitha Falls. (Pictured below.)

After taking that turning you stay on that road for 3 miles. After a mile or so you will start following the river Fowey on your left hand side. After 2.5 miles you will pass two bridges on your left hand side and a huge layby on the right. (The two bridges consist of a modern vehicle bridge with metal railings and a seperate granite stoned wall bridge to the right.) Do not cross these bridges. Continue for 800 yards down the road and we are the next farm entrance on the left. Its a granite stone wall entrance and a wooden gate, Carkeet Farm written on the gate. (pictured below.
